    I am not so sure that will continue. Surely MSM desires that it not continue. --As close as were the last 2 elections there's no time for resting or inattention by the R's, even if there are gaggle of empty suits on the left....the MSLM is a powerful force, to be sure.

    Yes,...

    Just goes to show how slick the devil in wingtips really is.

     

    His position in the Senate needs to be truncated, too. This guy has to be stopped. His state does not deserve to be known as his lair. We all need to pray to see evil and to know what do do in each case.

    --Am I demonizing him? No, I think that started a long time ago. May God somehow turn him and save him. And to those who chide that I "don't know his heart ...only God knows his heart." ...One's heart is center of one's values, and one's character springs from values...and, his character seriously stinks...as demonstrated in less than a year of national exposure.

    Character matters,

    As a Christian you may remember an instance or two in the Bible in which the good guys prayed for their enemies to be in confusion, and worse. I pray first for everyone's acceptance of true wisdom in all matters, and peace for their lives ...AND then for their confusion, powerlessness, and perhaps their early demise if they are to life-long refuse the wisdom generously made available to them.

    I like the way you say that: "THE PEOPLE'S FEDERAL GOVERNMENT". We should all never say Federal Government without prefacing it with "The People's". We need to get that sense of 'the people's ownership of the fed govt.' back into the public's thinking.

    John and Sarah will be a good team for America.

    But I am not at all happy with McCain's record w/ regard to our illegal alien problems. I think we all need to dog him & turn him on that issue, at least very hard after he gets in there if he is still vacillating after he wins but before he takes office.

    We have had Black Fridays in our Dear Country, such as this: "A day of stock market catastrophe. Originally, Sept 24, 1869 was deemed Black Friday".

    I rejoice with all the angels and for this hugely positive step for women in our Dear USA, but today, August 29.2008, should be forever known as Blessed Friday for two reasons, a) because Palin, a fabulous person of such high moral and ethical standards has come to the high forefront of American politics, and b) that just by her record and her presence she shames all self-serving professional polits of both parties, and all bully bureaucrats, and all sleazy lobbyists,... et al.

    The bar has been raised, the standard sanctified.

    You are very insightful BigRichard.

    RCMO, Liberals, as part of their make-up, are never consciously disappointed because there is a part of them that knows and lives: "life is all fantasy anyway". They are characterized in action as if they were immature spoiled-brats, and their mindless religion is Make Daddy Take Care Of Me At Any Cost socialism.

    Their spirituality is their fantasies. And if you ever confront them for having believed in a fantasy or if you ever remove their fantasy like beating Carey & Gore, they, like spoiled brats, anger-up and become blithering, non-sensical, and illogical blamers of the other side...just as would a spoiled-brat child having a self-destructive hissy fit.

    After all, how could they (who see themselves (mistakenly) as The Intelligensia), how could they ever make a mistake...that eans everyone else is wrong...and the only explanation for their losses has to be the evil-doers of the other side. So, they simply demonize the other side and get on with their idiocy. --Freud would have a ball with this group...too bad he's not around to trash them a bit.

    Only this thinking goes to explain the last 7 years of Liberal idiocy about Irag and Bush (well, Bush has been a bit of an idiot in some areas of presidential operations, true...), and their support of another (worse than the Gore, worse than the Carey) Pied Piper in the form of Obama (the devil in Harvard wingtips).

    Think about this: The Liberal mindset works for millions of Americans who have less and less of a steadying moral center to anchor their character & personality.
